CREATING TIMELESS 1st BIRTHDAY MEMORIES

At my welcoming natural light photography studio in South Wales, I create a relaxed and happy environment where your baby can enjoy every moment of their session.

A cake smash photoshoot includes updated portraits before the cake comes out, the cake smash itself, and a splash in the bath to finish.

If you prefer to skip the cake and keep it simple, we can tailor the session to be portraits only. You can also choose a colour scheme or theme to suit your baby’s personality, or keep it timeless with my neutral studio backdrop and dried flower wall.

My studio wardrobe is available for your little one, including outfits and hats, but you are welcome to bring any personal or sentimental items too. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join in for a few family portraits as part of the celebration.

WHEN TO BOOK

Cake smash sessions are best booked when your baby is around 10 to 11 months old. This allows enough time for you to receive your finished gallery before their birthday celebrations.

It is always recommended to book in advance to secure your preferred date and avoid disappointment.

Cake smash sessions are also included in the Milestone Collection, which is designed to capture all of your baby’s special first-year moments.

Session Fees & What’s Included

A £90 creative session fee is due at the time of booking to secure your date and time. This covers my time, expertise, and the care I take in planning and creating your baby’s first birthday session.

Optional extras are available, including balloons or themed styling for £25, and a bespoke cake from The Icing Queen for £30 (most allergies can be catered for).

Digital images and product packages are purchased separately.

Around 3 to 4 weeks after your session, you will receive a private online gallery to view your images from the comfort of your home and select your favourites.
